"Today Vegetables, Tomorrow the World!" -Chester, Bunnicula: A Rabbit-Tale of Mystery

Chester is an Orange tabby cat who is paranoid and believes Bunnicula is out to get the world. He comes up with these obnoxious sayings, like, "Today Vegetables, Tomorrow the World!" or "Forbid Hope All Ye Who Enter Here," or "Lock Up Your Artichokes!" He reads books, like the supernatural and paranormal, yet he does not write them, like his friends Harold and Howie.

Harold[]

Chester is best friends with Harold and they've known each other for a very long time. Harold tries to keep Chester's paranoia under control but is typically unsuccessful. They are known to argue at times and their disagreement on Bunnicula occasionally messes with their friendship.

Bunnicula[]

Chester spends most of the series hating and trying to kill Bunnicula. This stops at the end of Bunnicula Strikes Again and he regards Bunnicula as a friend for the rest of the series.

Howie[]

Chester is friends with Howie. Howie practically forced Chester into being a father figure for him. Chester isn't a very good father figure for Howie. He often gets annoyed by Howie. He rarely enjoys Howie's jokes and he hates being called "Pop", although after a while he gets used to it. He often manipulates Howie as well. Despite this, he seems to have a positive relationship with Howie otherwise.

  • Chester starts to accept Bunnicula near the end of the series in Bunnicula Strikes Again! and Bunnicula Meets Edgar Allan Crow.
  • In Bunnicula Meets Edgar Allan Crow, it is revealed that Chester has the ability to set up a spreadsheet on the computer.
  • Chester has a favorite brown and velvet arm chair that he sits in to sleep and read. he also staked out the arm chair for him self many years ago.
  • Chester once was supposedly poisoned in Howliday Inn.
  • Chester has seen Friday the thirteenth.
  • Chester also reads Stephen King.
  • Chester loves milk.
  • Chester is jealous of Bunnicula.
